PPMA sees a Full Packaging Line-Up and new division from Autopack

Autopack Group will use this year’s PPMA Show to present its largest machinery showcase to date, bringing together flexible packaging, rigid packaging, weighing and inspection solutions across two stands at the NEC, Birmingham. Visitors to stands A12 and B20 will be able to see 25 machines on display, including a complete working packaging line alongside individual equipment for specific applications.

The showcase also marks the launch of Autoweigh, the group’s new weighing and inspection division. Its introduction adds a further dimension to Autopack’s offer, particularly for businesses looking to integrate handling, weighing and inspection equipment into wider turnkey packaging lines.

Flexible packaging solutions

Autopack’s flexible packaging line-up will include machinery for a wide range of markets, from food, beverage, snacks and dairy through to pet care, pharmaceuticals, personal and home care, nutraceuticals, agriculture and quarrying. The stand brings together capabilities developed through the group’s acquisitions, partnerships and engineering expertise.

Among the flexible packaging highlights will be Technosys’ A300 quad seal coffee solution with degassing valve, alongside an A200 VFFS machine with an Autoweigh linear weigher feeding sachets into the EX1 compact X-ray machine. The EX1 forms part of Sesotec’s inspection portfolio, with Sesotec named as the latest brand to sign a distributorship with Autopack Group.

Sack filling and automation

Stand A12 will also focus on sack filling, including the new AP500 from APM, part of Autopack’s flexible packaging division. Designed for B2B sellers, the auger-fed gross weigher system can fill 10 to 50 kilograms of powder or granular products into open-top sacks and is adaptable for a variety of industries. The AP400 valve sack packing machine, AP600 automatic open mouth sack placer and latest bulk bag discharger will also feature.

As many businesses continue to face labour shortages, rising costs and safety concerns, sack filling machines help reduce manual handling, improve consistency and increase throughput, helping manufacturers operate more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Rigid packaging and turnkey lines

On the rigid packaging side, Autopack will demonstrate a full turnkey liquid line, covering container unscrambling, air rinsing, filling and capping. The stand will also include a Van Rijn bucket filling and lidding system, plus a range of semi-automatic depositors.

Visitors to this year’s Autopack stands A12 and B20 will see the full value the group can bring to a packaging project, giving customers the opportunity to explore how the right combination of equipment can support efficiency, accuracy and long-term reliability.

The PPMA Show 2026 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, from 22nd to 24th September 2026.
